Boulby Mine Continues to Support the Champions of the Skies

The world’s first and only Polysulphate mine, and the Boulby community, has once again proven their dedication to the community by donating an impressive £5,000 to the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS). This generous contribution is crucial in ensuring the continuation of this vital charitable organisation, which relies entirely on public and corporate support to operate.

The GNAAS provides life-saving services across the North of England, delivering critical care to those in desperate need. Without consistent funding, this incredible service would simply cease to exist, leaving countless lives at risk. The importance of supporting such a cause cannot be overstated.

This recent donation adds to the remarkable £54,000 Boulby Mine has already contributed. This funding has been raised through a variety of activities, both internally and with the involvement of the mine’s dedicated employees. Staff members have tackled the Three Peaks Challenge and even bared all for the “Boulby in the Buff” Calendar, showcasing their commitment to the cause in creative and ambitious ways.
