Boulby Empowers Future Innovators: Second-Year Apprentices Gain Invaluable Experience

We are delighted to have had our second-year apprentices back on-site. This is the second time that these apprentices in their second year of a college course at TTE have visited site and are the first ever to have full college sponsorship from ICL Boulby in their chosen field.

This week marked a unique experience for them as they spent time at ICL Boulby, gaining valuable firsthand knowledge of the site’s daily operations. The apprentices have gained a profound understanding of our product’s journey, from mining to production, and onwards to Teesdock. They observed the similarities between the small-scale pumps they studied in college and the heavy industrial machinery here, all within an operational environment over a kilometer underground.
